Last Friday I went with my family to have lunch at the new Star Provisions Market and Café in Atlanta. This new location is more spacious than the previous one and the décor, I would call it modern farm house, is cozy with the long shared tables. The service was friendly and very efficient. All the kitchen products for sale (pots, plates, unique glass bottles, cookbooks, just to name a few) tempt you to shop instead of eat, and the food… what can I say? It was delicious!!!
My husband, son, and dad ordered the Prosciutto and Parmesan baguette. My mom got the veal meatball sandwich. And for me, as I’m not so much into sandwiches for lunch, I ordered a Niçoise Salad that was amazing! A plate full of greens, fingerling potatoes, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, tuna, and capers. The greens were fresh and crisp, the tuna was tender and moist, and the dressing complemented the whole dish perfectly.
So, next time you are in Atlanta, stop by Star Provisions Market and Café for some delicious food. Bring home some baked treats, cheeses, meats, and something to decorate your kitchen.
