I started this blog to share recipes of simple meals, that could be easily made to be sent to school or brought to work. Lately I started to feel that I needed to incorporate something extra to my posts, and the idea of writing restaurant reviews sounded extremely interesting. This is something that I’ve always thought about doing, and now that I live in an area (Metro Atlanta) that is so rich in food diversity, it makes more sense then ever. So, below follows my first review. Hope you find it helpful and delicious at the same time…
Last Friday I went with my kids (for the second time) to Food Terminal, a Malaysian restaurant in Buford Hwy., Chamblee, GA. We really enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere with its diversity of customers ranging from families with small kids to couples and groups of friends. It has a clean ambiance with an open kitchen that allows customers to view the chefs working.
When we got there, the restaurant was busy, but we got a table right away. Once we decided what to order, the food came very quickly. I have to note that their menu is like a magazine where you can find pictures of every item together with a list of all ingredients from that particular dish. Everything looks so delicious that it makes it very hard to decide what to choose! After some thought, my daughter and I ordered Grandma Wonton BBQ Pork and my son the Grandma BBQ pork. They also offer a list of specialty drinks that are worth a try.
After we finished, the check came quickly and we didn’t have to ask for it. I have to say that I can’t wait for my parents to be in town so I can bring them over there. Great experience!
