Last Thursday morning I was at a grocery store with my daughter, when she asked me to buy a Caesar Salad for her lunch. It was a store prepared salad, which looked really good and fresh. But I told her that it would be better if we buy the ingredients and make our own.
At home, I grilled chicken breast and boiled a small bag of baby potatoes. I also had other ingredients that would complement the salad, so we ended up with a small salad buffet.
My salad: Romaine lettuce, baby potatoes, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken, black olives, cucumbers, olive oil and salt.
My daughters creation: Romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, croutons (homemade), parmesan cheese and Caesar Dressing.
